Yati — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Yati, a game and wellness experience developed and operated by Jayka Studios LLP (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using Yati, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Yati.

1. Overview of Services

Yati is an interactive game where users progress through levels designed to provide entertainment and a sense of general well-being. The activities within the game are intended to support:

  • Stress Relief
  • Focus Enhancement
  • Sleep Support

Yati is primarily a gaming application, and its features should be treated as entertainment and general wellness tools. Yati does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Yati.

Yati is not intended for children under the age of 16. By using Yati, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

If you are 16 or 17 and are considered a minor where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms, and you may only use Yati under their supervision and responsibility.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions

Yati offers subscription-based access similar to standard mobile subscription services.

Subscription details including pricing, duration, and features will be displayed inside the app before purchase.

Subscriptions are processed via:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play Store

Platform provider terms and billing rules will apply.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled through your app store account settings before renewal.

To avoid being charged for the next subscription period, you should cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date (or earlier if your platform requires).

5. Free Trial

Yati may offer a free trial period.

  • Users are not charged during the free trial
  • To continue using premium features after the trial, you must subscribe
  • If you do not subscribe, premium access will end after the trial period

Free trials (if offered) may automatically convert into a paid subscription unless you cancel before the end of the trial period (typically at least 24 hours before the trial ends, depending on the platform).

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are handled according to the policies of the platform used for purchase:

  • Apple App Store refund policy
  • Google Play Store refund policy

Jayka Studios LLP does not directly process subscription refunds for in-app purchases.

7. Health and Medical Disclaimer

Yati is designed for entertainment and general wellness support only. While the core gameplay is intended to aid in stress relief, sleep, and focus, it is not a clinical or medical product.

Yati does not:

  • Provide professional medical advice or clinical diagnosis.
  • Replace a licensed physician, therapist, or health care provider.
  • Treat, prevent, or “cure” any clinical condition, including but not limited to insomnia, anxiety, or depression.

Yati’s content is the “basis of the bargain” for entertainment and supplementary wellness experimentation. Always seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical or mental health concerns.

Yati is not intended for use in medical emergencies. Yati does not provide emergency services and is not obligated to contact you or anyone else on your behalf. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, or are considering self-harm or suicide, please contact local emergency services immediately (e.g., 112 in India, 911 in the US, 999 in the UK, or 988 in the US for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

You are responsible for your decisions and actions while using Yati. If you feel unwell, distressed, or uncomfortable at any time, stop using the game and seek appropriate professional support.

8. Safe Usage

For your safety, you agree that you will not use Yati:

  • While driving, cycling, or operating heavy machinery.
  • During any activity where a lack of attention could lead to an accident or physical injury.

You are solely responsible for ensuring you are in a safe environment while playing.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights to Yati, including:

  • Game design, levels, and logic
  • Meditative content, audio tracks, and scripts
  • Visual assets, UI/UX design, and animations
  • The name Yati and associated branding

are owned exclusively by Jayka Studios LLP.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Yati for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

10. User Conduct and Future Social Features

While Yati currently focuses on an individual experience, we may introduce social features such as leaderboards or community interaction in the future.

You agree not to:

  • Use Yati for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to interfere with the game’s security or integrity.
  • Use any automated means (including bots, scrapers, or data-mining tools) to access, copy, extract, or index the game or its content.
  • Use any part of Yati (including audio, text, visuals, or gameplay outputs) to train or improve machine learning models (including large language models) without our prior written permission.
  • (If social features are added) Engage in harassment, hate speech, or sharing of inappropriate content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these conduct standards.

11. Third-Party Services

Yati uses third-party services including:

  • Apple In-App Purchases
  • Google Play Billing

Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms.

We are not responsible for third-party service performance or policies.

12. Privacy Policy

Your use of Yati is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your personal data (including age, identifiers, and usage history):

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service, platform requirements, or legal obligations.

We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue Yati (or any feature, content, or level) at any time. Where required by law, we will provide notice; otherwise, changes may be effective immediately.

If significant changes are made, we may notify users via:

  • Website update
  • Email (if applicable)

Continued use of Yati after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Limitation of Liability

Yati is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jayka Studios LLP disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jayka Studios LLP and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the game.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jayka Studios LLP’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Yati will not exceed the total amount paid by you to Jayka Studios LLP for Yati in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Karnataka, India.
